A short film and interactive discussion about the death penalty in Texas.
In 1982, Charlie Brooks Jr. was the first person to be executed by lethal injection. More than 30 years and 500 Texas executions later, his two sons are speaking out about their lives growing up with a father on death row. Hear their candid stories in a 15-minute film and then participate in an interactive discussion about how the death penalty affects family members left behind.
Donations will also be collected for the Inside Books Project (that's us!), which provides reading material for inmates.
